Hi there...
I know that there are several coments about riding a hollow mod style TW in trails, but I couldn't figure out if is it dangerous or not. What I mean dangerous is that the cone air filter could get wet ou full of dirt or dust. Can this force the bike to come down in the middle of nowhere?
Is there any precautions to take?
Is there any protection to this type of filter before going to dusty trails....
Thanks to everybody....

Most of the hollow mods that I have seen would probably need some extra support for the air filter, otherwise you could lose it entirely. I have seen breathable, but waterproof socks that you can install over these filters to protect them when riding in the rain or on water crossings. I would be more concerned about the exhaust when taking a hollow mod off-road if it has a low-slung one like my son's bike below.

Thanks and go ride.......
