Anybody know anything about these? I've ridden the ST1100 and both the old and new Goldwings, but never tried one of these.

I have a chance to pick up an 07 with 5K on it for a steal.

I know Honda discontinued them this year, and I've heard about the Panweave, but other than that, does anyone out there own and ride one?

Thanks for any comments you can share.

Always looking ot increase the stable.

Ride safe.

I've never owned or ridden one, but I do own a GL 1800 Goldwing. I have two friends that own the ST 1300 and both of them love it. They say it is nimble, fast, and bullet proof. BTW, one of them owns a discount motorcycle parts and service center here specializing in Goldwings.

The only compliant I have heard about these bikes' is the heat from the engine can be uncomfortable for the rider.

Check out the web for reviews and checkout the service bulletins. Overall they are a good machine and get better fuel economy than the wing: and the bike has a large fuel tank so it has good range.

Good Luck

It's a sweet bike, you'll never have a problem with it.

Well it looks like I'll be taking delivery of it the end of the week!

She's light silver metalic, and has about 5K miles on her.

First thing I'm gonna do is flush the clutch, brakes and coolant out with new,

Replace the 4 year old tires and battery

Order a passengers backrest from pirates den for the wife

Then take her on a short shake down run...maybe down hwy 1 to San Diego, then back up through Victorville, Yosemite, Sacramento,

Lake Tahoe, Auburn, Reno, The lost coast, then back home to San Jose

After all it does have a 7 gal fuel tank on her

Wish me luck, I should have her by friday.

I just hope the TW Twins don't get all fussy having to share a garage with another bike again.

I rode the 1300 and a Goldwing back to back at the Daytona Motorcycle show in 2004. The 1300 felt like a sportbike in comparison. Strong motor, really comfortable seating position (I'm 5'9") and I loved the adjustable screen. Congrats on the new ride.

Congrats. Let me know if you make that shakedown run and I'll do 395 with you if my Connie can keep up.

Well I didn't get around to changing any fluids yet...I did manage to order a new set of Bridgestone tires though.

The bike was so clean I thought it was a trick. It has never even been ridden in the rain! No dirt under the fenders, engine, seat, anywhere! I put some seafoam in it, and checked the tire pressure, and told the wife I'd be back in a day or two that I was going to a short ride LOL.

I cut straight across the state and into Arizona to have dinner with my son. Bike is everything they say it is. Smooth, Fast, Comfy, loads of storage space, etc. I just really have to watch my speed on this thing!

The electric shield is wonderful. The only thing I had a chance to change before I took off was installing some BMW grips.

I really like the taper better.

So far the bikes seen Phoenix, Tucson, Tombstone, then back through victorville, apple valley, hesperia, San berdo, the mojave desert, hwy 395 and back. I think this one's gonna be a keeper! I just feel terrible though....I have not even sat on the TW since the new years!

Far not. TWs are patient. TWs understand big highway miles are not good for them and prefer you use another bike.
