How often to check valves?

Just that? I was reading about the DR-Z 400SM and they mentioned that many other bikes need frequent valve jobs or checking? I didn't see anything about that in the owners manual for the TW200 and I'm wondering what your experiences are.

Owners manual, page 6-3, 6000km, 3728 miles.

Valve adjustment is 14 minutes, start to finish, once you get the hang of it.





1 Remove seat

1 Remove tank

1 Remove rocker covers

2 Remove crank bolt and timing mark covers

1 Align timing

2 Adjust intake

2 Adjust exhaust

2 Replace all covers

1 Replace tank'

1 Replace seat
