Y’all know I like seeing a little yanking and banking now and then but did you know I can also appreciate preeeeecision flying?
These crop dusters have also been used for dropping fire retardant here.

I've seen them get really low to the crops before but this pilot is even lower than I've ever seen. Not much room for error.

Aaah, no worries. Pilot is floating on a nice cushion of compressed air in ground effect, just has to dodge the occasional gopher hole.:rolleyes:
Got a thrilling helicopter ride once surfing that ground effect cushion from outskirts of Burns, Oregon all the way up to the Columbia River. Rotor tips barely a meter off the ground lifting only occasionally to clear the odd cow or fence line. We did pop up to clear a power line though, pilot was brash but not stupid. Better even than motorcycling when your eye is 5 feet off the ground, tipped forward and making 105 knots. Just don’t tell the FAA!
