Hey guys,

The bearings on my front wheel have seen better days, thus I need to replace them now. Actually I needed to replace them a while ago, but no money or knowledge left my bike standing:( But anyways, now that I have a bit of doe, I can commence TeeDub surgery. I still haven't been able to find any help online, so hoping someone here can help me. What is the correct way to remove the fron wheel and then the bearings? (disc brake)

Thanks so much,

Rudi

You're going to need a blind hole bearing puller. I bought a Harbor Freight one for around 40 bucks. Rocky Mountain ATV MC has a good looking Tusk brand for under a 100 bucks.

Some say that you can use a screw driver or a punch and that may be, but the puller made it easier and safer. They work on the rear wheel too.

I got the new bearings in (Finally), but something still does not feel right:/ It almost feel's as if the bike is too loose, but I just can't figure it out. Going to do some more investigating tomorrow. I also think the Front disc brakes might be catching:/

Hey guys, I took my bike through a HECTIC forest trail a few days ago, cause I figured if it's going to come apart, it will come apart then, and not on the tar:) anyways, she seems to be holding up fine, still not sure why she felt so different. I'll keep a close eye on her, but she seems to be going fine, and I'm super amped to be back riding again:)
