F-N-A RIGHT I GOT MY FIRST T-DUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a road trip today and came home with my first Yamaha TW-200. I have been lurking here for about a year and planning for my first TD, I feel like I know some of you guys a little from reading your posts. Now I get to come out of the shadows and join the club. My bike will see the most use as an elk hunting/scouting mule with some spring thru fall work commuting action thrown in. Here is what I got!

1989 black and red bike

What it has......

55 tooth rear sprocket

rear rack (not a cyclerack) but a decent aftermarket model.

Original tool kit

857 miles (?????????????)

Bow rack

What it needs.....

New seat cover

new gas tank or rust repair job

o-ring chain

Cyclerack

New tires (the ones on it now look great but after reading on here it sounds like new ones are the smart thing to do Besides I really like the Maxxis Bighorn rear tire and would love recommendations for a good front tire to go with it.)

Mirrors

hand guards

Kolpin Jr gas can and mount

and the list goes on and on and on........Without further ado here she is

I always did like red and black as a color combination, cars or bikes. I have thought about that for my 05, but I hate to lay it up long enough to do it. I'm sure you will love this bike as a do all machine. If you have been lurking here for awile you know the many uses we have for these great little bikes. Keep us posted on your mods and how they work for you.

I like the black widow thing, too.

That appears to be a TCI rack. It's good stuff.

And a 30.06
.35 Whelen. Same brass, bigger hole. Superior energy transfer and greater tissue damage out to about 300 yards, and 99.999% of hunters can't hit a barn at 300 yards under hunting conditions, so the '06's superior downrange performance is for naught under practical hunting conditions.

One of the best color combinations and graphics packages. Black hubs and spokes with red rims would be perfect.

Totally useless piece of crap where I hunt. Shoot out a barrel with a couple hundred rounds. Kind of like a high maintenance woman. I see the magnum guys overdrive bullets at close range and get little penetration or tissue damage due to excessive fragmentation. If you can't get close enough to make a good shot with a .308 Winchester, you pretty much need to learn to hunt, unless stalking pronghorn on the plains or popping goats 2 mountains over.

p.s., My other rifles include 300 Winchester, 458 Weatherby, and 500 Nitro Express.

Bowtech Invasion 62# 28" draw 28" Easton Axis arrow with Muzzy 3 blade broad head 100 grain total weight 415 grains. Less energy transfer and tissue damage more cutting surface, needs to be angled at about 140 degrees to hit 300 yards with very little energy transfer. Maximum range under ideal conditions is 40-60 yards which 99.999% of hunters can not execute.

I definately agree red rims with black hubs and spokes would be sick. Stay posted.

congrats on getting your "black widow edition" tdub. Same year as mine. Having that kickstarter is nice.
