So, looking at Yamaha SR400s and SR500s. Probably one of these bikes will be my next. But looking at them online, I can't help but wonder if you could squeeze a SR400 motor into a TW200 frame. I mean, they're both Yamahas and the engine profile looks very similar. Anyone out there know if anyone has tried this or am I just thinking crazy?

Yes, I have seen a lot of custom SR400s and SR500s. One of these bikes will definitely be next on my list to buy and customize. But, could one of these motors fit inside my TWs frame with minimal fabbing? That is the question!! My bike would be perfect at like 350 or 400!!!

I think it would be easier to graft a TW swingarm onto another bike rather than fitting a larger engine into the TW.

Yeah, I kind of thought of that too. Basically just do my SR400/500 custom in a similar fashion to my TW. We'll see. Who knows what I come up with!
