So I've been fiddlin' with motersickles for a few years now. Taken quite a few trips on my DR650, V Strom 650, then a V Strom 1000 that I bought after selling the Wee. Back when I was married I bought an XT225 for the wife and just loved that little thing. Well she moved on a few years back and with her went the XT.

Thought I'd come up with another XT, but the TW has always fascinated me. A buddy had one way back when you bought 'em new for 2300 bucks or so and it was fun to ride. I lurked here and on the TW thread on ADV. Then I got to watching TDubsKid Youtube videos. Did I mention I'm obsessive. Went to the local Yammy dealer and rode a new one. Yes, the memories were all there: gutless, comically low geared, teeny footpegs. And just absolutely fun. I was ready to pull the trigger on a new one, then last Thursday night the Craigslist Gods shone down upon me. 2007 TW200, 3000 miles, like new, $2950. I was on it like a rat on a chee-to. Drove to Butte the next day and loaded her up.

The previous owner had his local dealer go through everything. Carb cleaned and adjusted, new tires, the dang thing is just like new.

Carb is set right and no cold start fussiness (yay!) I rode it around this weekend and just enjoying the heck out of it. I tried to post pictures but I have to have a few posts up before links allowed, so those will come later.

So anyway, hello y'all. Fun site here.

Boy, you weren't kidding when you said it looks like it just came off the showroom floor! Don't you love it when people take good care of their stuff?
Too bad he didn't put a Shinko 241 on there instead of the Death Wing. :p

Congrats. Bike looks to be in amazing shape. That's going to be fun. You have quite the stable there.
