Ok, so I think I have found a 2009 TW with only 700 miles for $1900, will know for sure Thursday when I make the 80 mile trip to get it, looks good in the pics I had the guy send me, so far everything seems like its going to workout...so will update on Thursday...

well I lied the bike is a 2007 but still only has 735 miles, superb mechanically, pretty good shape cosmetically (few deep scratches on rear fender) but I figure i could always replace plastic if I wanted, it does have a brand new battery and tagged for a whole year...if i knew how to upload a picture I would...anyway $1900 and 160 mile round trip isnt too bad for such a machine I dont think....

wow.. whats the trick to uploading? lol yea it looks pretty good (especially that side) left side has some rash on the plastic but that will be fixed by the new plastic I just ordered....all in all its basically like brand new except for the cosmetics which I will remedy all of overtime...thanks for all your help guys, joining this forum is not only enjoyable but provides a wealth of information, some of which I have already been using...what a resource!



upcomming plans include



banshee handlebars

new plastic install (when it gets here)

bigger front sprocket and new chain

eventually re-paint engine cases

maybe some cool turn signals/taillight (any ideas are appreciated)

possibly FMF or DG exhaust and carb re-jet (whats the best for the money?)

may add a rack eventually

when its time for new tires may paint/powdercoat the wheels black with blue pin stripe



this may take me awhile as time and budget permit...let me know what yall think???
