This is old news, but I think it might be good for some one, A couple Years a go I had a small leak in my Head Gasket on my 91 Tw, It was casing it to run lean, and that caused it to run very hot, I could smell it was hot, kind of a sweet smell. It was also causing the Manifold O ring to melt with in minutes of running it, especially at an idle.
The Yamaha O rings were $4.99 apiece plus shipping. One Day just for the heck of it I stopped into a Hydraulic supply house to see if they had anything I could use well waiting for some to be shipped to me. They matched it up with a Red O ring that was chemical resistant and what was really cool made for hi heat. I don't think I could melt it with a torch.
The reason I telling this is they would have just gave it to me but I wanted a few spares so they charged me a buck apiece. I don't have any part numbers, I wish I did.
