Not to sound like I'm bashing the TW (Enjoyed mine for many years) but these prices are insane, the TW is just NOT a $6,000+ bike in my opinion. Most I'd even consider paying for a new bike is something like $3,200 plus $500 max in dealer fees.

For $6,500 I'd want a modern 250cc twin putting out 20-25 HP, 6 speeds with reasonable highway gearing to cruise 60-65 and pretty high end components to keep the weight around 300 pounds or a little less.

To each their own though inflation keeps getting worse and if you got the cash to pay that much for a TW go for it and enjoy every second. I know most of the members here are older folks with a good retirement; whereas those prices are a little too steep for the young guy here busting his ass to make 15-20 an hour haha. I mean I've got the cash in savings but I could never justify spending that much of it on a TW. likewise I've got the cash to go buy the crazy new honda 1000rr that does 110 mph in first gear but I can't justify that purchase either. but you get the idea.

I paid $6,300 cash O.T.D. here in Southern California in March 2021. I asked for a couple tie-downs to be thrown in so I could get it home. Had to drive 2 hours away to snag the bike. View attachment 235052
That’s as good as a person can do in Cali I’ve seen dealer write ups as high as $7900 on Cali TWs
