Charge the battery.

Check tire pressure.

Change the engine oil and filter.

Drain the gas tank and carb, and add fresh fuel.



... most importantly, does it start up and run? Most bikes that have been sitting for a year will have the carb clogged up. My TW had been sitting 6 months, and I had forgotten to drain the fuel from the carb. I ended up having to disassemble and clean the carb before the engine would run properly.
