The Jimbo shields are made by forum member Jimbo C. He is a firefighter so occasionally the response to emails is slow, but hang in there the high quality Jimbo shield is worth the wait. I think there has been an addition to the color choices, so inquire about that in your email unless you've already made your choice. Congratulations on your choice of a motorcycle, and welcome to the forum. We look forward to hearing about the fun you are having on your TW.

That looks great! How much did it cost you? Does it have different mounting points than the original jimbo shield?

Ronny-Dog, you know I like 'simple', but what the hell is all that green foam bungeed to the back of your seat all about......... I know you were going for another "Missing Link" award, but that won't pass muster. Don't give me that, 'my back gets sore on THOUSAND mile rides', BULLSHIT!!! If you are a REAL man, deal with it. I think about thousand mile adventures all the time. You don't see sissy ass foam on my rig.............

What is that sticking out of the right rear of your bike? To me, it looks like a tool that homeless folks use to pick-up aluminium cans... Is that how you and Russ got the gas money to ride ONE THOUSAND MILES..............? Gerry

I got the first prototype to try on the Iron Butt ride. I thought my neck would be very sore from the wind on my helmet but the Jimbo "Highway Cafe Shield" worked great. I even took a football helmet collar to hold my head if needed. It mounts in the same place and has two small rods that run from the triple clamp to a rubber mounting hole in the shield. He has been tweaking it for a while now and should be available soon. Cost?

Mr Giz your killing me, that's funny! Yes it is 12"X12"X2" foam for my back, butt and anywhere else I could tuck it. And I did!!!!!
I did pick up a few hundered cans waiting on Russ and his 196cc or less oil burning sled.
The fashion accessory sticking out the back of the rack is a red umbrella to use if we broke down or just want to look good on the side of the road.

He was going for that "Homeless Geisha" look. Pulled it off ever so well, too...
And I wasn't burning oil. I loosened up my cylinder bolts on purpose, so I could use the resulting base gasket leak as a chain oiler.
