Got my Yamaha 2010 tw200 last week.
Took me a day to get insurance and another to set up an appt at the dmv.
Got her tagged and now need a rear bag and maybe a tank bag.
This was the second tw I attempted to buy.
The first was a 2005 with 1200miles , full racks, grip warmers ...blah blah blah...
I live in Tahoe and am going to do some exploring.
I'm going to use this thread for pictures and trip logs.

Welcome!
You have dirt on the tires already, that certainly is a good start.

Barker Pass, Ellis Peak on Tahoe's west shore are good tune-up riding places before tackling the Rubicon Trail. Try the legal motorized section of Tahoe Rim Trail on east shore between Spooner Summit and Kingsbury Grade where Mark Twain quickly decided journalism in Virginia City was a might easier than cutting wood timbering for the Comstock. Fun ride. Also some challenging ( steep & loose) singletracks there that drop down from there to towards Carson City, may have to take HWY 50 to climb back up to the basin though as they can be a little steep, loose and technical when riding solo.

Hey guys.
Thanks for checking out my new thread.
Its kind of a quiet forum.
Which isn't too bad of a thing.
Super excited about the fuel economy.
I love how low and torquey that first gear is.
I've ridden allot of these trails on my 26" and now 29er mt bike.
This is a pic of the bike I didn't get.
Still a little hot about it.
No worries.
I've been busy. logged about 80 miles.

Been busy finishing a renovation of 60+ year old house. Turned out really good. The girls that moved in, love it.
Saw a big nail in my back tire.
Tried and failed with slime after I removed the nail. Held air till I rode on it.
Found a new tube since the old tube is 8 yrs old anyways
(and full of slime)
