Saw this guy on a kayak trip down the Tioughnioga River between Cortland and Marathon today.

Very cool. I saw a pair when we were camping a couple weekends ago at Moose Creek. iPhones don't take good zoomed in pictures. All I got was a white tipped blur. Eagles are a lot more common than they were just a couple years ago when I was a kid :)

Seagulls get annoying. I camped on the beach and a seagull swooped my Coleman stove and got my sausage. I'm glad it was a big sausage, he couldn't fly and I was going to take him out. I retrieved my sausage and like any real camper, washed it off finished cooking and ate it. About the eagles, beautiful birds. I had one near me that nested in the big steel power line poles. I used to watch it soar really high in the air. I enjoyed watching it. I think they relocated it though.
