If you find an old enough drum brake one it'll have drains that make changing fork oil EASY. I think it was around '95 they lost the drains, but the casting boss is there. I had the lowers on my '99 drilled and tapped for drains when I built Lzrdbrth franken forks. There is no boss on the '04 disc brake lowers.
I've about decided to convert my '04 to drum with drains.
How much of a liability are the genuine Japanese bikes over there? Always wondered what the parts situation might be.
I think Spudrider has freely exchanged a number of Zongshen engine parts with Yamaha parts so I'm assuming the reverse would be true. I know some of the indigenous knockoffs run fat 15" rear tires but what's the sitch on 14's?

While moving both of my parts motors I noticed that both are broken in the area of the kick start shaft. I can think of 2 obvious causes. First a crash. Second an overly aggressive Hulk kicking away. Is there a problem? And maybe this is why Yamaha discontinued the kick starter?
Hi, I've been reading up about available, or lack of, tire choices and had settled on the shinko 241 to change out the deathwing, which has already got me both on n off road 🤬 problem is I live in Spain. Nobody stocks them here but I did find another 2 European stockists but they both can only...
So, about that snow...Tell me I ain't going coco for cocoa puffs
Not being able to ride is killing me
Tucked away and keeping warm but I'd rather be riding
Ugh, break time is over, gotta head back out to do more snow moving...
I am looking at the manracks and cycleracks rear racks for my newly bought 2015 tw. I want to be sure that neither of them will interfere with having a passenger on back. I just want to ride my two kids around in the woods but I just don’t want the bars to get into there butt or interfere with...
