So before I settled on and got a tw, this is one of the things I ran across. Throwing it out there as it shares a bit of style with the street modded tw's ive seen.
Also because it takes a lot of tech knowhow to keep them running.
Theyre American owned, manufactured in china.
Seems a lot of people wind up putting a honda, yamaha engine in the frame for the 250 cc
Ill get one when I want to get a LOT of experience working on a bike.
Thoughts?

I do like the way they look, pretty cool, but sooo small.

The kikker is a great bike to tinker with. Stuff is spread out and easy to reach. I did a conversion to an electric motor on one of these frames before. That bad boy would scoot boots when engadged. And made gas a thing of the past.

That same frame with minor variations is sort of a standard item produced by a lot of the Chinese outfits.

My stepson works for one of them. I think they're sitting on a pile of those frames due to Cali legality issues. I don't know what they cost from Hardknock, but Ebay oughta be full of them. I'll get the names of all the outfits that have used that frame if anyone is interested.

Kind of a crapshoot, as it is with a lot of Chinese goods up to now. Here's the my son's awnswer to completing the shaky welds. Same frame:

Had looked at both of these options myself. Bothe Kikker and Tha Heist from Clevelandwerks both suffer greatly from build quality! I had even looked at getting a SACHS MadAss but again, build quality is an issue. Inevitably I found and fell for the TW200. The T-Dub can be made into one of the aforementioned bikes and inevitably has the build quality behind it to make them worthwhile.

Good to see this thread as I had been debating exactly this before just biting the bullet and buying a TW. :)

Buyer Beware

I had one to play with for a while and sold it. Unfortunately, may of the dealers are selling them as road bikes. The ones sold a couple of years ago do not have titles. I hope they've received DOT okay and have changed that.

It's a novelty bike. The brakes were undersized. The tires are not very good. The low grade components broke often and I was constantly upgrading.

On the other hand, for riding around property or using as a conversation starter at bike shows or parades, it was great. Styling was pretty good.

Before considering one of these, I suggest people go check on-line to see what level of support they can expect from the manufacturer.

Oh yeah, it's not really a motorcycle, but it is a cool toy and a head turner in a parade.
