Rode this weekend and noticed that my kill switch was not working . Thought I would check to see if the kickstand overide worked and it did not. Then checked the clucth overide and the bike started without the clutch engaged. Any clues?
Ahhh!! I have this problem periodically as well. Mine is caused by my right-hand lever/hand guard that I have clamped onto the right side handlebar. When it wiggles up it must pinch the cluster of wires and causes the safety/kill switches not to work...when I push it back down they immediately work. Check this area out, I say.
I wish all that crap on mine didn't work. It is all a pain in the butt. Things that one day will go bad and leave you stranded or working on it out in the middle of no where.
I need to get busy and bypass all that stuff.
