Loaded up the wife's 4 wheeler in the trailer and I followed on my KLR650 to Tall Pines ATV Park for some trail riding. 224 miles round trip and 20 miles of trail riding makes for a long day. About 9 hrs. saddle time. Most of the trails had seen a lot of atv and side by side action so there was a choice of 2 lines on the trails, left rut or right rut. Trails were mark with 3 difficulty factors and arrows made for easy trail navigation. $20 per machine for a day pass.

I really need longer legs to ride this bike off road but made it through 20 miles off trails without incident. Just turned over 30,000 miles, '95 KLR bought it new in '96. On the TW I'm always looking for a 6th gear, on the KLR I'm always looking for a lower 1st gear.

Short clip of a trail. Typical northeast woods trails.

I put a Corbin dished saddle on mine & it really helped with the seat height & comfort.
I totally agree about the gearing thing on the TW & KLR.
Great post thank you .

It is really tall looking. Room for a step ladder on the back maybe.

Riding on a wet trail with leaves on the top would make me nervous. Of course, a lot of other things would make me nervous too! Sounds quiet on the trail.
