Hello!

Seems there's a new forum. I also had to get my username again...

Anyway, I had a few drinks and I have an idea if anyone's keen.

Next week I'm going to work about 750 odd K's away, for a few weeks....I was taking the KLR650 - but if others will donate to a charity (of your choice) I'll take the highway fully loaded on the TW.

Anyone willing to make me suffer?

Rob.

I actually have a KLR not available to North America - one with a 14l tank. The TW holds more than 12!

Will have to decide tonight - will need to do an oil change and a few other little things..... will let you know.

Last time I was pretty full though going over for just one week's work....

This seems like one of those torture tests. Press the button and hear someone scream, will you press it again?

For work I'd take the KLR. Get you home quicker then you can take the TW on your next adventure, rather than commute.

The KLR will use less fuel at highway speed, just in case you're left short due to any hiccups along the way.

I heard there's lots of rain over east with the OCR thread updates in Advrider.

Someone aqua-planed at freeway speed on a straight bit of road and broke his collarbone!

Another couple riders his a wet patch of diesel spill on the highway and got tank slappers.

Have a safe commute (on the KLR!)
