Jay Leno is one impressively good person.
No other late night talk show host before, and especially after, can entertain as wide an audience as he did without offense. Current late night options have no appeal by contrast.
His steam engine burns had him cancel his live performances here and elsewhere.
Wishing him speedy recovery and no more getting clotheslined off his bike.
Kings, Congresspeople, Military leaders, Movie Stars, Millionaires, Elon Musk.... Who among them has had a life like Leno's. The more I hear of him, the more I admire him.
Did you know that he still owns, and drives, his first car!
“So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it,”
I've always been a fan of Leno's, even saw him do a live show in Vegas ~10 years ago. He should be an inspiration for any Gear Head!
The wire stretched across the parking lot he hit should have been marked. I'm guessing the property owner will be facing a lawsuit at minimum. It's fairly common practice here in So.Cal. for people to cut-through parking lots to get around stopped right-turn traffic. It's an annoying practice, but as far as I know, not illegal, though many property owners think it is. Local gas station owner near me looses his mind every time someone does it, then again he's wound a bit tight.
