I'm planning on building a custom mostly street tw200

Plan is to tear down the bike remove plastic ext sand blast powder coat and extend swing arm

I'm looking at 2 bikes. One is 95 with 4k miles in good shape for

$1400 the other is a 90 that has low miles but needs top end rebuilt for $300

I'm thinking since I'm tearing the bike apart and redoing I should go with the one that needs work

What you guys think?

I'm thinking if you buy the 95 and it has the orange seat in like new condition, you can recoup part of the purchase price by selling the seat (or just the cover) to me : )

just to give you an idea...i bought my 00 with 8k miles for $1500

Add one more 2 the list 2006 with 3k miles in great shape for 2k.. It looks to nice to tear it apart.. But I might be able to recoupe sum of my money by sell the parts I take off
