Thanks for posting this, Ron.

Being on the east coast, I won't be there for the service. But I will be thinking of him on the 10th as I take a ride in his honor.

Ronny, Thanks for posting the bio. Lots of us knew a little about Russ, but few knew his general history. I had the pleasure of meeting him for a meal and chat on the far eastern end of the honeymoon, but interacted occasionally thereafter.
There is an old saying that the quality of the culture in which you live has more to do with how happy you are than what your status is within that culture. I'm convinced Russ was interested in the quality of our "TW" culture more than his status within it. Lets keep working on that "spirit" and let Russ' example lead us forward. Ride on. Tom

My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you tomorrow. Cheers to all.

While a sad moment in time, and a loss we do not really want, I will cheerish the little bit I know about Russ, and celebrate the things he has brought to us in our quest to Love Life, and enjoy our bikes even more. The Spirit of Lizrd will Roll Forever. People like him bless this world.

Regrettably I will not be able to attend the services today for Russ.

Hardly a day goes by that while perusing this forum I don't expect Russ to chime in and share his authoritative knowledge and help us solve our problems.

I miss you Russ, rest in peace.

We will post pics of the memorial.

Here are some of my pictures from the Memorial Service. There were over 150 people to honor Russ. Russ's bike was parked at the entrance to the hall where the memorial was held and all the rest of our bikes were behind Russ's. After the service Gina (Purple) led us on a ride to the place where Russ's ashes were spread. Because Russ loved Roy Rogers, his ashes were spread behind Trigger at the Sunset Hills Memorial Park (owned by the Roy Rogers family). It was a bittersweet time and Russ was honored by all. Russ would have been proud of how Gina led us all...
