The leather saddle bags look a bit out of place on it. It looks like the rear case is mounted with no rack there, do they make ones that attach with no rear rack needed?

The topcase attaches to that plate mounted on the factory rubber pad. With this sort of mount the safe payload capacity is the same as the pad alone, 7 lbs. The advantage of a rack like the cycleracks is that it transfers the load distribution forward by attaching to the passenger peg mounts.



The bike in the ad does have a couple of handy add-ons, but it's far from what I'd call a "loaded" TW. Mr. Gizmow has a LOADED TW, the one in the ad is mostly stock and fairly overpriced to boot when you consider that new ones can be had for a few hundred dollars more OTD, and used ones with lower mileage can often be found for closer to 2-2.5K.

Problem with mine is that it is "loaded" when I get on it.
