Gordon came by my work yesterday and filled me in on whats going on. Seems his Dub's engine finally gave out and He has moved on to a bigger bike. A Honda CRF-250 Rally that's being set up as his next great adventure bike. Also as some of you know he has been an active scooter rider and with others has started laying out the Scooter Overland Adventure Route using low speed back roads. I can't wait to retire in a couple of years and start checking it out.

Glad to hear it, though I thought he was still in Tennessee. I have a buddy that digs scooters and says he knows a TW guy over in the same town longroof lives. It's a small world, I guess. That 250 is pretty slick. I found a video of a father and two sons doing the TAT on the two different 250's and an AT. Looks like a very competent bike, the rally model.

Hi X,
Sorry to hear Gordon's " round the world" TW died. But it's always nice to get a new bike.

Also missed your phone call somewhere around Christmas. The wife related your call, but erased it from the answering machine.

When are you heading to TN again?

If the company does not pull the rug out from underneath me I'll be there in June to early July. Also planning to do the Blue Ridge Run again in late June.

Good to know. Maybe we can meet up again. You can show me your side of the mountains.

Are you taking the H-D and the TW?

Do you know how many miles Gordon had on his TW before its demise?

Plans are to bring the Dub and KLR. Also I'm not sure how many miles Gordon had on his bike but it was a lot!
