That's awesome. We live on Johnson's Pond, and every 4th of July there's fireworks. The neighbors like to get in on the act too. I swear, a couple of them across the pond have been aiming at me.... maybe this year is the year to strike back!!!!

In Auburn Washington there used to be about a 5 bacre open area alongside the road where every year the Indians sold fireworks. Dozens of fireworks stands in one place.
On 4th of July for a number of years this was the location of the Muckleshoot war. A number of white guys would occupy a piece of high ground and shoot fireworks at the indians below.
The indians would counterattack. The Indians were more numerous and had a lot more ammo than we did and would eventually prevail as we would run out of ammo and leave.
The high ground could only be held until we ran out of fire power, then we had to go. It was a yearly tradition most of the eighties.

Police cars would gather across the highway in the parking lot of a hardware store and wait to process survivors when it was over. They seldom bothered the Indians, they wanted us up on the hill.
