Good deals on used cycleracks are out there, but as you found out, you have to move on them immediately. I searched for about 6 weeks before I landed one. I missed out on a like new one for $100 plus shipping by being the second caller. ( he did send me a like new light smoke Jimbo Shield for $30 shipped, though ) I was not having much luck, then I started thinking outside the box. I responded to an ad on here from a guy in Chicago area that had one for sale but did not want to ship it. I pm'd him and let him know of my difficulty in finding a used one, and if he ever reconsidered shipping it out, to please let me know. A week later, I had the rack at my door for the bargain basement price of $90. ( shipped ) The seller really went the extra mile for me, which was much appreciated. Dave
