Hey there everyone, I am currently in a web design class

and I have been tasked with creating a web page about one of my hobbies. I, of course, am doing this about the mighty TW! I decided to put this topic in the General Discussion forum for the best visibility because I would like to be able to use some of the information, pictures and videos posted here in the site. This page will not be listed on any web server and therefore not viewable over the internet. My question is this, does anyone here have any issue with me utilizing any information, pic, or vids listed on this site? I understand if you do, and will most certainly respect your wishes if you would rather I did not.



Again, my "Web Page" will not be made public over the internet.

I think the general response previously when someone asked about Wikepedia or other borrowing strategies was it was OK with everybody as long as special stuff was acknowledged as to source. Consider yourself OK'd until someone complains or tell you differently. Tom

My page is not due until the second week of March. It would be great to get some feedback from everyone on my finished product. It is just a web design fundamentals class though. So I'm sure there will be nothing fancy.



As I understand it, files can not be attached here to the site. Once it is complete, I will post saying that it is, and then if anyone would like to see it, I will try to send all the info required to view it in a standard web browser through a PM. If that don't work, PM me with an email address that I can send the file to so it can be downloaded to your respective computers and then viewed.



When it comes to giving credit where credit is due, of course. If I know where a photo, video, or information comes from, it will be listed as a link to a document(included in the web page) with the appropriate citations. I may only know you by your forum name though, if that is cool with everyone? If not, PM me with your name and I will make sure it is cited accordingly.

What you should include first is how durable the TW is. Hence Shinji Kazama. He rode in 1987 to the north pole on a TW and in 1992 he rode a TW to the south pole!! There is a documentary called "pole to pole" he is mentioned in.

Well The class is over and the site I created did not get as "complete" as I wanted it, but it did have almost all of the requirements of the instructor. Anyway, the "site" I made up is a total of nine pages. The requirement was for only three. In order for me to send it, I have to zip it all into one folder. Once you download it to your PC, right click and select "expand all" (windows machine). Go to the folder that the files were saved to and double click on the "default.html" file. This is the home page for the site. Your default web browser will display the page as if it was coming from the web. Links to the other pages are on the left side of the page.



There is sooo much more that I had envisioned but did not have the time to add everything I wanted. There are a number of pictures in the images folder that were never even used. The "send me an email" link is to my school email address. The form on the "credits" page will not actually send any info to me. That is the part I messed up on and ran out of time before I could correct it.



The commpressed file is almost 9 meg in size. As I said before, this site of mine is not publish nor is it being hosted on any web server. If you wish to see it, please pm me with an email address and I will send it to you.
