Still on vacation and wife was busy running her 82 yr. old father to Dr. appts. and grocery shopping so what am I supposed to do. Home alone with a high of 93 degrees forecast, slight chance of rain latter, and a garage with a TW sitting in it. On the road again! Suffered through almost 50 miles one way of pavement riding to get to McDonough State Forest and explore seasonal roads and trails.

Went past this road on the way to my destination and did a u-turn, had to find out where it went. Took me an extra hour to explore this road. Eventually turns into a rarely used trail that connected to a seasonal road I discovered from a previous ride. Well worth the detour.

Best looking corn I've seen. They must get more rain than we do in my area.

Fire watch tower can be seen behind the barn.

May have sold us short.

We do have corn...

And, the Ice Cream Capital of the World, but

Your scenery much cooler.
Its all in the eye of the beholder.....we don't have views like this in Rhode Island......

(OK. That's Idaho....but you get the idea....we like seeing the huge farms)

-hyjack; Pologies-

This country's got a lot!
NY has it's issues, high taxes, political corruption, etc. But the scenery is great and has seasonal changes, fall being my favorite.
