Not sure what brand, but it's probably a Cycleracks. Got it from Fred (Placerlode) right after I got the TW. Guess I mis-spoke about a milk crate on the front. You're right, it won't fit. I used a 5 gal chemical jug I had laying around, just cut the top off. A 5 gal bucket also fits. I ran it for a while, but found myself putting to much in it. It didn't handle well. That and it blocks the headlight at night. Looked for it but couldn't find it, must have found another use for it. It's footprint measures about 9 1/2 x 11. Here are two pictures (Everyone loves pics, right?) The one with nothing on the front rack is how she rolls the majority of the time. The other is with an intact jug set it on the rack to give you an idea, the milk crate, and my fencepost quiver. On the front rack, Gruff, what brand is it that you have?
If you happen to have the Cycleracks brand front rack (I have that same one) how did you work around it's bracing on the sides to get your milk crate to sit back properly against the headlight? I mention it because on the Cycleracks front rack that bracing or reinforcing is "in the way" if you try mount your milk crate there.
Yeah, I know. She's ugly. But like I said above, "purty is as purty does".
