Exxon Mobil is offering a new rebate on Delvac 15W/40, motor oil.

The rebate is $25 on the purchase of a five-gallon pail, or $5 on the purchase of a one-gallon jug. The list of participating retailers for this rebate in Idaho does not include WalMart.

I posted a thread on BITOG (Bob is the Oil Guy), and was told Mobil would only honor rebates at participating retailers.
Therefore, to avoid any possible difficulties collecting my rebate, I got the local O'Reilly store to match the local WalMart price of $12.97 per gallon.
With the $5 per gallon rebate, I stocked up on Mobil Delvac for less than $8 per gallon!

Mobil Delvac 15W/40 is very good motor oil.
I thought the wise and frugal members of this forum might wish to take similar advantage of this excellent offer.

Howdy,

Isn't this a diesel oil?

15/40? I use 10/40 and will convert to MOBIL 1 synthetic next oil change.

I am new to oil changing I change the oil in my F650G using 10/40.

I have never used 15/40 in anything.

What am I missing?

Commercial grade diesel oils are excellent for your motorcycle. I use 15W/40 motor oil in all my bikes.
