Hi folks, thanks for the add.

Finally got the bike out of the house. The snow is still pretty deep but bare ground is popping up here and there.

Cheers!

Thanks, I love it here, it's near Nelson, BC. I am a member of the local riding groups and everybody is chompin at the bit to get out but the snow is just too deep and firm but not firm enough to keep the bike high enough to get traction. a couple more weeks though.

Thanks, this spot is right across the street from me, I feel pretty lucky to live where I do

My new (to me) 2014, with basic mods
I think the dual sprockets and ATV tire elevate you above the "basic mods" category... even the Clarke tank and high fender are on the upper end of basic.

You've got a nicely set up TW there, and I think you're going to have a ton of fun with it!

Welcome! :eek:ccasion14:

Thanks! I got it out in the dirt today at a reservoir near my house. It worked pretty awesome, it just walks up the steepest hills and handled the shoreline rock gardens with no sweat, unlike the sweating I would have been doing if I had to pick up my DR650 a dozen times which would have surely happened had I tried to ride it down there ;)

Nicely equipped TW. Like what looks like a little Honda Reflex too.
Interesting that both designs date from mid 80's with a similar goal to market a small displacement Dual Sport with some real off road capabilities. Yet the path taken by each manufacturer sure turned out different. Yamaha came out with a new design still in production while Honda simply remanufactured the unsold unpopular trials machine's inventory from 1985 by slapping in a battery box, lights and horn until all were gone or smashed. Too bad Honda didn't resume production of the TLR200 after 1986 as it had the same motor as in the XR200 with a six speed gearbox. Nice to see one still in use.
Beautiful riding area Twotents, hope you can ride more with your buddies soon.

Awesome. (but not the snow in the background, at least for us riders. Looking out the window-ok).:D
