Hey guys Ive been on the forums when I had my tdub. Then I bought a 2012 r6. I missed my tdub and went and bought one! so I have 2 babies now

I wanted to know whats the best website to get parts for my tdub. i plan on buying:



chain, sprockets, air filter.



Also, what size sprocket should I get for a better acceleration? which chain should I buy and which air filter?



please show me a link!

I think you should stick with the R6 for acceleration. There's all kinds of sprocket/chain combos on eBay for the TW, go with an o-ring chain.

ofcourse, but thats my weekend toy since its brand new, and my tw is my daily commuter now. i dont do highways just street use, but i have no idea which chain or sprocket to buy that will enhance my acceleration



i just want my acceleration to be faster, i dont care about my top end speed

The sprocket thing is hard to choose......... The stock 14/50 is a good all around set, but it has limitations on the road. The 14/47 set is better for cruising speeds. Less vibs etc. but you may lose some power..... I use the 14/47 and love it, but I'm not concerned about acceleration. Some guys go even higher on the combo's... 14/55 or something like that. Good luck in your quest for more snap. OMM.

Larger in the rear or smaller in the front. The 14/55 will give you faster acceleration but less top speed.

X2,,, And the 14/47 gives you a tad bit more top end with less vibration.. The stock 14/50 is a compromise that yammie has worked out pretty nicely. Remember you are on a 16hp machine. Also remember that the higher quality O ring chain will last longer but some say it robs some power.... Good luck.. Like I said I picked the 14/47 combo and love it... OMM.

Currently I am working on a better translatable version.

The google translation does have at this time some problems with the "frames". The new version does have a better (on CSS based) frameless design.
