Is it specific to the bike or can I use any drain plug that is the correct diameter (which by the way, I don't know because I have not yet be able to remove the existing plug).

Thanks,

the plug looks specific to this motor as it has a slot for the spring and screen to sit in when the plug is installed

Thanks. Do you have a recommendation for a mail order store that carries them?

Partshark are one option. Put a socket on the plug (19mm) and give it a belt with a hammer, usually helps. Order a new O'ring too...

A single hex socket helps to not damage the cap too.

Too late; the deal went down :)

I want the new one on hand when I finally get the other one off.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Can anyone tell me if the o-ring is something special (to withstand heat) or can I just pick one up at the hardware store/auto parts store?

Thanks!
