So how much lbs did it take to seat(pop) the bead on. I have aired down 3 times and up too 80lb and have not heard the usual POP when the bead sets. Have the tire setting in the green house with 80lbs in it, hoping that will do the trick.

My SR241 did not pop. It just slide into place. I too was expecting a pop and just had to look for the bead line around the rim.

Ok Good to know.
I see the bead line and it looks the same all the way around the tire. My old maxxis 6006 and the 2- 244's I have put on all popped.

Thanks Admiral:icon_salut:

Put it on and took it for a test drive. Wow, forgot how nice it is to have a new front tire. Did not do any balancing, found no hops while riding. Was very smooth, got up to 55mph. Doesn't look as menacing as my Maxxis 6006 did. Rides nice and corners nice. We'll see how it does on my birthday weekend (4 day) ride this year next month. Very happy so far.
