Hi folks, I bought a 1996 dr350se a few days ago and am wondering if anybody knows where I can find a download-able shop manual for it and possibly a good forum like this one that pertains to the bike. I've done some googling and haven't come up with much. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the DR350se is not a cult bike like the TW200, so you may have to break down and buy a manual. Advrider.com is a good general dual sport forum. DR350 is a great bike. I've owned a '90 and a '91, the good old "s" models with the kickstart.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've only taken it out a couple times so far but it's gonna be kind of a project vs my TW which is still like new. It really makes me appreciate my TW's handling characteristics even more... my next TW mod will be adding a kick start so maybe the dr will get one also at some point but for now I'm really only interested in getting the dr's maintenance up to date. Was sitting for a very long time, only has 7k miles on it.

You should have bought an XT and kept it all Yamaha!

I agree! But unfortunately (kinda) I live on an island so my options are pretty limited. I was very fortunate to come across my TW as my first bike so I've had a pretty good experience with motorcycle ownership. I did want to find a fixer upper TW that was actually title-able. But after about 6 months of waiting for one to pop up I went with this one...

There ia a DR thread in the dualsport section of the Two-wheeled Texans forum.

I'll check it out. I looked at some threads at advrider like gregg suggested and they have some really cool stuff(thanks gregg!). My only gripe is threads go on for like a million pages (exaggeration...but not by much lol). I'm pretty excited about the new bike, mostly because I've been a little reluctant to take advantage of the TW off road very often because it has been my primary source of transportation.
