First off, Thanks to all of those that have put up walkthroughs, pictures and etc. They have been very helpful and a joy to read every night. I bought my 2010 t-dub brand new on April 2nd. I have put over 2000 miles on it since then. I've purchased and installed: Jimbo shield, tusk risers, new grips, tusk handguards, larger foot pegs, airhawk seatpads for my girlfriend and I and a cyclerack. I'm still looking for a good sized soft trunk/bag and a Sylvania h4 bulb as soon as money permits. I think that it will be almost perfect then:) I do have one problem though, I am having a hard time finding a main jet for my TK carb. I've looked at most of the places suggested on this site and cannot figure out which one is right for me. Any help finding this would be greatly appreciated!

I've tried searching there, but I can only find the oem 126 &128 sizes. I am searching for the 130 according to the jetting posts i've read on here.
The 130 was not used in any TW so it is not listed as a TW part.

From the TW parts lists:

288-14343-63-00 Jet, Main #125

288-14355-64-00 Jet, Main #128 (288-14343-64)

5FY-14343-63-00 Jet, Main #126

288−14343−66-00 Jet, Main #132

Notice the current part number for the 128 is a supercession of the old number given in parenthesis. When you put the old number in the part number search the result brings up the new number, which is listed to fit TWs, and the 14355 number, which is listed to fit a CS340N, whatever that is. The part numbers are interchangeable.

Perusing the Yamaha parts catalogs led to the deduction that the -6x- pair of numbers was about half the jet number: -63- is #126. -64- is #128, -66- is #132. Pretty easy to see that -65- should be #130. So, plunk 288-14343-66-00 into the part number search and we get a #130 main that has been used on a plethora of models over the years, but not OEM on a TW. Therefore, it is necessary to order the "288-14343-66-00 Jet, Main #130" by part number, not by the TW parts look-up system.

I'm assuming you meant, order the 288-14343-65-00 for the 130 jet and not 66 which would be the 132?

I went ahead and ordered the 130 main. I called stadium yamaha about the $13 shipping charge for a $3.50 part that weighs less than an oz. They allowed me to pay only sales tax and they are going to send it in an envelope for a total of less than $4!!! If anyone is planning to order a single jet from them, it may be worth calling before simply ordering over the internet.

Stadium used to be free shipping. I've heard several complain of shipping charges. I'm fortunate to have a friend who lives near Stadium Yamaha who picks up in person and ships to me via Priority Mail Fixed Rate.

Ive now been a member of this awesome forum for a month now. I feel like I have a new, more exciting family
so I just wanted to add a pic of me and my tank after todays ride... I only fell like 5 times due to muddy conditions
but i'll get there. I know i'm gonna be sore tomorrow!

Get a spare front wheel and mount a Kenda K760 Trackmaster II. You won't fall nearly as much, but she'll staggar like a drunking sailor when you try to ride in a straight line.

Ohhh yeah i'm sore! Giant bruise on my back, concussion seems to be gone(hit my head pretty hard) and somehow my elbows are killin me. But it was just too much fun to stop after the first really hard fall! Can't wait to do it again with a few less falls of course
