I had to drill new holes for the spring to fit the left side peg. Right side was ok but took some wiggling with needle nose pliers.



I don't see what the harm is in just leaving them out. Gravity will make them go back down, so will your foot.

Here is another thread about foot pegs. You may have the wrong pegs. The pegs with a 3 B cast in the left peg and an A 3 cast in the right peg seem to go right on. Just flip the right spring over end to end.

bought these pegs a week or so ago, look exactly as they do in the picture. unfortunately the springs that came with the pegs dont seem to fit properly. any help would be appreciated




Have heard this time and again about the e-bay pegs....I went with the IMS peg's.....first time I ever installed pegs,went fairly well.As another said,you may have received the wrong pegs?.

Pegs were easy to install. You mentioned that it came with springs. Mine didn't. I just used the stock springs. I had to drill a hole in one of the pegs (Can't remember which one), which was a very easy task, and the new pegs went in just as easy as the old pegs came out.
