Hi All got a 1887 tw200 in the spring and im hoping that you guys can help me out. I know alot of you have the knowledge and skill to help me out. unfortunately i do not have a picture at the moment taht will be uploaded very soon! My plan is to make it a great all around bike any ideas??

Check the fuel. 125 years can wreak havoc on ethanol.

Get it some new shoes and a fresh yoke. There used to be a list of common mods on the old board. I can tell you a better skid plate, a cyclerack, and you'll be in the right direction.

Complete tune, oil, filters, lube, adjust.

Rejet carb.

AGM battery.

O-ring chain.

Tires, tubes, and rim strips.



This much is pretty basic no matter what you intend to do with the bike. After that, farkle towards your intended use.
