I'm looking at an 08' with less than 500 miles tomorrow.......if it doesn't do it for me the local dealer has a new model that I really like........so I definitely will be a TW200 owner prior to friday of next week; I'm buying it to take to Europe with me in a move with the military.....I have a Harley Ultra Limited...and a suzuki DR400zs.......which I'm likely leaving both here......my 05' ford F150 supercrew 4x4 uses a lot of gas......and the gas prices there are crazy.....so this will be a good tool to run around with....and use as a work bike when I return on my dad's farm...I've wanted one for a long time.........I've ridden them in the past and think they are a hoot.....I can't wait.....I'll probably sell the DR400z.....great bike.....

Nice DR400.....mine's yellow and has nobbies......came with them......not as fat as those.....



OK..went and committed to buy the 08', rode it today and it is in showroom condition........I road my Harley over to the guys house...the tw200 felt extremely small after getting off the Harley.....

Also.....I didn't think 1st gear was very effective....heck it barely moved the bike.....just as soon start in 2nd..........



I'm just 5'9" with a 30" inseam and I think I'll spring for risers on the bars....I felt cramped..........too many years riding bikes too big for me I guess.......I'm 47 been riding since I was in single digits....I know I'll get used to it....but it'll take a minute....

My Crossbones feels like a rocketship compared to the the dub still haven't done the leap into putting up pictures yet. Did a few mods to it that everyone thought was nuts. My girlfriend walked into the garage about two months after I bought it seen a motor on the bench and said "Now who's piece of crap are you working on?" All I could do was smile and say just some routine maintenance honey. I cannot post what came next hahaha.

I got the ATV Hi bars, they are a couple inches taller then the stock bars. They are about $60 bucks.

Heading out right now to pick up the 08' TW and bring her home.....already ordered a bigger gas tank should be here early next week......thanks for the info on the ATV hi bars....likely be added soon...but first.....a rack and some boxes......once you get use to having places to put stuff it's hard to go back.......

Oh....by the way......Sold my fatboy pictured above....once I got the Ultra Limited I just never ride it.......I also wanted to fund a few more of these..........
