What's up people! Glad to be a part of the little tw community. I suppose I should start off with a little about myself...

I've been riding for about 3 years now, started out on a klx250sf (supermoto) that I bumped up to 30hp or so with big bore kit, carb, exhaust, etc. I then aquired and xt225 which i still have, found that for street riding the motard didn't do it, besides who doesn't love some dirt? Picked up a drz400E plated last august, and as luck would have it, bought a 2004 vstrom (with 7k miles) for 3,000 not much later (february)! Needless to say the motard is for sale (vstrom much better on the street) and the drz400e while fast, is too fast for me in the dirt; out here in vegas our off roading consists of silt beds and sharp jagged rocks, not something I like to be doing at 30mph+ (which I did consistently. Since I commute to work on my bikes, I can't afford a gnarly off road wreck.

Here's the part you've all been waiting for..... I sold the drz last monday, and picked up....a 1987 tw200 the next day!!! $1300 and the bike has under 11,000 miles. Looks and runs brand new!

I absolutely love this thing! Most fun I've had off road in forever, it just chugs and chugs and chugs, idles up my driveway; amazing! So easy to ride. I need wider footpegs, and bar risers, probably some luggage racks too to haul all the camping gear. What fun! :D I never understand how people desire more off road! What's the point of riding off road if its not to enjoy the scenery? Low and slow

Unfortunately the V-Strom will always see more seat time, mainly since I commute and go long distances on it :)
