Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Have been lurking around the site for the past year or so looking for a TW to purchase as well as get up to speed on various topics and concerns that everyone has.

Must commend you guys on offering up good info and offering of options available for the TW.

Recently (2 weeks ago) purchased an 87 (no. 1986) w/ 2,000 miles on it. Alittle scruffy around the edges but a great running bike.

Bought the TW as a learner for my wife and me to use for fun with modifications anticipated once she's mastered the little beast (I'm anticipating afew drops, so not doing anything major yet, set of new street tires going on this week).

Alittle about me.....began riding back in the mid 70's (RD350 and a host of other bikes borrowed from friends)and then got married and the toys disappeared with the onset of kids. Fast forward 25 years later and I'm back on bikes for the last 8 years or so.

Regularly ride a 1990 FJ1200 and am in the process of cafing an 1977 XS360 with the recent addition of the TW (look's like I got a thing for Yamaha's).

Located on the Connecticut shoreline with most of New England as my riding area.

So......hope to be active here (belong to a number of other forums) and possibly run across some of you on the road.

A raised glass to all!

Nice. Looks like it has been well maintained. I believe that everyone of us would like an 89' black widow. I have told my girlfriend that if I ever run across one on craigslist in decent shape i'm scoopin it up. If not, I may have to transform mine in a few years.

Sorry about losing the photo guys. Was doing some house cleaning in the albums and realized I moved things around alittle too much.

Made a run to the grocery store last night using the tdub. bungeed on a milk crate and off I went. It was amazing the number of looks with big smiles I got. Gotta love these things! I'm hooked
