Hey guys! Thought I'd take a minute to say hello. Will post the first of my troubles in a different post...

Last night, to my wife's dismay, I picked up a '95 TW. It's really clean. Only missing mirrors. Runs like a champ! Can't wait to take it out for a test ride. I've been on street bikes (off and on) for the last 22 years. Unfortunately, I've never done any sort of off-roading before. So, I'd love to hear advice as to what gear I need/can't/shouldn't live without. Even better would be places around here to ride it off-road!!!

Ronny - my wife's from Poway. Spent many a vacation down there visiting her family. Would love to have the desert so close by!

qwerty - mechanical problems already... leaky petcock and carbs left a nice gas puddle in the garage. That's now first on the list of repairs.
