Last week, I got an 07' TW 200 with about 1800 miles. I'd been riding a Suzuki 650 Burgmann.

I want to put a storage rack on the back, with the capability for a large Givi type case.

Any recommendations? I couldn't find anything on the forum.

Thanks!!

I don't think that you will find anyone that makes a rack that accommodates a top case that is plug and play for the TW200. You will have to adapt something. There are several manufacturers of racks that work on the TW200. The sturdiest rack and most popular amongst the TW riders is made by CycleRack. After you purchase the rack then you can figure out how to attach a top case. I have a Top Box made by Happy Trails that I put on my TW.

Before I got the Top Box I used a milk crate - not very sexy but it was quite functional and cheap.

I hope this helps.

I took my Cyclerack, cut the rear bar where it turns up, turned it 90 degrees toward the back and re-welded it. Then welded a couple of plates to mount the Givi mount. I now have a 36 ltr monkey Givi and a handy handle on the back of the rack. I also welded on some side racks to keep my soft bags in place.

A case will bolt right on without a rack, but of course carrying capacity would be more limited (although the weight is still resting on the subframe):

JC Whitney case:

I wanted side bags so ended up fitting a Happy Trails side bag mounts for Givi E21's, and while I was at it the Happy Trails rack:

I just purchased the same rack. The e-Bay post has a very good installation video. That plus a good price convinced me this was the one. Hopefully, I'll get it installed today.

Yeah, I found a video on YouTube also. It was handy as far as having the right wrenches ready and also showing me where the saddle bolts are located at (I didn't know). The only thing I found different during my installation was the guy in the video suggested having the rear brackets form a "V" shape before putting the rack on the bike so it would fit better. Actually, I squared my brackets up perfectly straight and didn't have any trouble fitting them under the seat at all.

Glad I could help. Good luck. Jeff
