Hi everyone! New to the forum here, just bought a 2006 w/ 790 hard miles on it. After 3 washes (kept finding MORE mud) did valves, clutch lever spring placement, went through carb. Every spoke on the rear rim was LOOSE, so tightened and kept it true somehow. When changing oil, I noticed it would only take one quart of oil. I used 10w-40 castrol 4T. The oil filter screen was clean, as was the drain screen. Just wondering why it took only one quart, thought it was supposed to take 1.2 or something? One thing I did not do was tip the bike far right and far left to get more out. I have always done this on my other bikes, but with the filter on the side and the drain on the side, thought it would be a bigger mess. Any ideas guys? Thanks-Glenn in Tennessee.

Mine, a 2010, takes less than a quart.
If I put a whole quart in, it become difficult to find neutral.

I have noticed this on my 2013. What is the reason for this?
