Need some opinions or someone with experience on this one. I have used Mobil 1 in everything for years...even my lawn mower. Would Mobil 1 be a good choice for my TW200? This bike will only be riden about 500 - 1000 miles a season. OPINIONS?

Oil threads are notorious for causing arguments or at least heated debate.

If you have been using Mobil for years and are happy with the results I think you have answered your own question.

I wish the search tool would allow words with less then four letters..

I myself liked using this and this

But how you ride, where you live and what season it is all come into play on what weight is best for you.

Take care to stay away from oils with energy conserving printed on the back. They can cause your clutch to slip.

Mobil 1 racing 4T is what my TW has been getting (in colder months) since new. During the hot, desert months I go for the V-twin Mobil 1 20w50. I love the stuff!! It is also all the R6 gets as well

Like others stated, give the Mobile 1 a shot. If the engine sounds happy and your clutch doesn't slip, you should be all set.

I always ran Rotella Synthetic in my CR250, but my TW doesn't like it at all. Clutch started slipping and the engine was even noisier than usual.

I switched to Rotella non-synthetic and it seems happy and only makes the normal TW noises....

Also look into a product called MILITEC-1 I have hit amazing miles using this stuff (239,000 Silverado) and use it in everything. It works on everything from firearms to Fiats.
