hi all.

my master link on my standard did 428 chain broke. i want to find out if i can replace it with a o'ring master link . i've check that it fits and it doesn't get stuck anywhere.

You can use it. Just be sure to use the O-rings to take up the side to side slack.It's also a good time to get an O-ring chain to go along with your masterlink.

Don't use an o-ring master link unless you have an o-ring chain. They are different widths.

I just got a new did o-ring chain and if i could i would get one. Im well pleased and sure you will be also. There worth it.

I am shopping for an o-ring chain, mind if I ask what you got and where you got it. I am having trouble finding a DID in 122 links in stock anywhere.

Learn to cut chain. Boxed chain is easy to find.

Thanks for that link cp, I just ordered two chains from it for the tw and the klx, going to be nice having chains that don't need adjusting constantly.
