I have ordered some Barkbuster handguards for my TW that are available in any color you want as long as it's black. I think I would like to paint them the factory blue that my 2017 is. I searched but can't seem to find a source for paint available in factory Yamaha colors for the TW. Any suggestions? Anyone know the name of the color used on the 2017 and 2018?

I am currently rebuilding my newest project 1987 BW 350 and wanted the red frame paint. We have a big paint store here that specializes in auto body paints either by paint codes or by actual paint matching. I took a part off my bike to the store and they have a machine, I think he called it a Photo spectrometer. He took a picture and ran it through the computer that gave him a mix ratio. He then mixed it up and put my paint in a standard rattle can. It was pretty expensive at $30 for one can but after I painted the frame in some spots but not all I honestly can't tell the difference. Another positive note with this method is that paint fades over time and red is very susceptible to fading. That photo spectrometer gadget was able to match the color with what ever fading has taken place over the 31 years so I don't see some parts with a little fade and other parts bright red. The paint guy told me he can do it for plastic paints just as well. You just have to go to an Auto paint store.
