those look exactly like the kind tie down knobs off of an early to mid 90's 4runner roof rack. looks real good on there, nice job.

So now that we've all drooled over the awesome P case set up, where did you pick up the bungee cord bunghole things? Looks like a boating item maybe ??

Recently I was made aware of a possibly cheaper alternate to Pelican cases, Seahorse cases http://www.seahorsecases.com/ I did a quick price comparison of a like size case between Pelican and Seahorse. The Seahorse was almost 50% cheaper. Have no comparison of quality though. Just a thought for those who like Pelican case idea on their TW.

i live in los angeles... pelican cases come up all the time on craigslist. which is exactly where my entire collection of these came for the bike. might have a scratch or two (or not) foam might be missing or pre cut (big deal) saved over 60% on the entire purchase. (might have to wait a tad for everything or size you want to come up and if your going to undercut their price, you need to be able to walk away if they dont go for it - used pelican cases dont seem to sell well, so keep the link and wait a week or so before making the low ball offer - at some point they want to get rid of it and at some point they figure out your the only one buying - clearly pushing the demand side of supply and demand economics)

thinking if i had (and dont) sandblaster and lightly hit them to take off the shine, they would match the boxs much better.
