n2o2diver won the last contest, and he chose "How about we do a Neil Peart Ghost Rider style photo contest. Just your bike on a lonely road". We will accept entries until, 2/25/12. the rules are the same as always,

#1. It must be your TW

#2. It must be a recent photo

#3. It must be about the topic picked by the last winner.

#4. It must be a "clean" photo

#5. You can only submit one photo per contest (if you submit more than one, only one will be voted on)

#6. the photo cannot be overly altered (photoshop) (some alterations are ok, IE, making a photo black and white)

#7. Have fun

For those of you not familiar with Neil Pert, he is the drummer for the Rock Band RUSH. After his wife and daughter died he went on a little motorcycle ride, sort of Forrest Gump like .... about 55 thousand miles. He wrote a book about it and the cover shot of the book is what I'm alluding to. I think it is an easy enough photo that everyone can participate. So let's see what ya'll come up with.

You all know we have lots of lonely roads in NM, so I thought I'd dash this one off that has a curve in it. It curves around this isolated ranch and goes forever toward the west. A vast area of the Rio Grande Valley between the Manzano Mountains and Ladrone Peak (north of Socorro) - Lets see those New Jersey vistas - I bet they exist. Tom

OMM,

Nice! Don't see too many photo's of a TW at Devil's Tower. Matter of fact, I hadn't seen any TW's or photo's of TW's there. Lot's of Harley's at all times of the year, not just Sturgis. Nice riding area isn't it? Good luck in the photo contest.

I'm very pleased to finally be able to post these photos... It was beyond words out there.. Funny story about the tower ride,, Started from sundance wo. Was told the tower was only 9 miles.. No problem, right.. Well it turned out to be much farther.. Ended up with 90 miles on the tanks.. Had to go 14 miles further to a credit card only gas pump in a small town, with the only gas in 50+ miles.. Got lucking. .But as you can see it was "GREAT". OMM.

Uhhh...the intent of the contest here was to take a photo of your bike similar to the one one the cover of the book. While these are a bunch of great photos, I think we are missing the mark!

I was envisioning photos taken from behind, a lone TW, middle of the road, no one in sight. peruano has the right idea!

How bout that. My bad... Just wanted to share our bikes out west.. If I had to pick just one to post I'd have picked the shot with the reflection of the bike and tower... Besides I read the rules the first day and just now figured out how to post. OMM.
